Ririe revisited
Got out on the ice about 7:15am, set up as usual, a little south and west of the island and settled in for a nice chat with my son. At 8:25 (I looked at my watch) we got our first bite. By 8:35 we were done!! all kokes, we practiced some restraint and quit. We gave up our holes (all three of them) to some other guys who were 25yds away fishing the same depth, same gear, same everything and were getting skunked. I guess sometimes your just the statue and sometimes your the pigeon.

Way to go! It sounds like you guys had the hot spot today. What was the average size of the fish you caught?
A 18"-19" kokanee is a really nice kokanee for Ririe. I hope you have/had a chance to get on Ririe before the ice comes off. Wind, rain and above average temps are bad news for ice fishermen.
