Living in NE Arkansas I mostly fish for Bass. But I often night fish for big blue catfish during the early summer through fall, the largest I have caught so far is a 26lb blue cat in Payneway, Arkansas.

If bass aren't striking I'll go over to my light spinning rod and pan fish.

They are tasty. So tasty in fact that most places have a mandatory catch-and-release policy because at one point they were fished to near extinction.

I'm a trout guy myself, but I'm no purist and don't mind catching other species Wink
There's no fishable salt water in Utah so freshwater is the only option here.
