#3. Hard to find company and it's usually a spur of the moment thing for me.

The best keepers are the ones that are allowed to swim away. Keep the memories, write the story and retain a photograph as irrefutable evidence that the encounter did exist; but let the noble adversary go. Let him swim away back into the life and the place he was before your challenge. Know in your heart that he swims on and hold the memories of that grand encounter as the true trophy of the day.

used to fish alone all the time but i got a good buddy i fish with now at least once a week even if it does mean getting off at seven in the morning rushing home and out the door at 730 plus now that i have weekends off there are a lot more people that i am able to fish with

I always have my son with me and almost always have a couple of grandkids with me.



Don't go fishing alone take a kid along.Please teach them to pack out what you pack in.Also teach them to respect the land so their kids will be able to have it also.

That's what the #5 is for in the other category. It is always nicer to fish with someone else. It's even better when that someone else is a kid that you can teach new tricks and tips to. The kid will then take that under their belt and be able to pass it on to someone else in the future.
