Waccamaw Fly Fishing
I recently moved back to Conway from Ft lewis and I'm looking to see what flies are good for the Waccamaw River and some locations where fish might be found.

You targeting panfish? I'm just assuming yes, since that's about all that is consistently targetable with flies.

Granted it's panfish, I don't know that the model flie matters as much as the type of fly. (floating, popping, sinking, etc...)

Not much going on right now though, with the low temps. Once it's warms up, popping flies and floating work very well early in the morning and late evening. Sinkers during the heat of the day.

You won't be far from the inlet, you ever consider fly fishing for redfish in the shallows?

Thanks for the information. Panfish or bass if they're out there. I've thought about reds on a fly in the Murrell's Inlet area, but haven't gone down there yet
