I was just thinking of a few nuggets of advice that just seem hilarious to me that my dad has told me:

1) the deer are where you find them
2) it's never a good idea to flock shoot at the elk

Reminds me of a couple Hunting tips taught to me a few years ago.

One: "Aim Small, Miss Small" The Patriot
Two: "With elk, Keep shooting until all 4 legs are in the air and its tongue is hanging out".
Three: much like your comment, "Elk are where you find them".

Seems to be helping me harvest some animals.
