I got this recipe for a sauce off the TV earlier this week, sounded good, but haven't tried it yet. Will try to copy and paste it to this post.
Lemon butter caper sauce:
¼ cup white wine
1 Tbs. minced shallot
3/4 Tbs. corn starch
½ cup butter, cut into pieces
1/8 cup cream
Juice of ½ of a lemon
1 Tbs. Capers
In a small saucepan, heat wine and shallot, bring to a boil and reduce until only 1 tablespoon of liquid remains.
Mix in corn starch, and then add butter until it is melted and smooth. Whisk in cream and lemon juice,
heat until mixture thickens. Add in capers, serve warm over fish. (Sauce can be used on chicken also!) Enjoy!
