Glade Run Lake Largemouth Bass Survey
On May 5, 2008 Area One Fisheries Management personnel sampled the largemouth bass population in Glade Run Lake by night electrofishing. Glade Run Lake is a 52-acre Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission owned impoundment located in southern Butler County off of Route 228. This lake is open to public boating and fishing and is restricted to electric motors or un-powered boats. The PFBC stocks Glade Run Lake with trout several times a year and it is in the Early Season Trout Stocked Waters Program as well as the Big Bass Program.
