Description: This big Mac was caught at Lake Granby in the Colorado Mountains. It was caught 2 years ago at the spring fishing tournament. The fish was 37 5/8" and weighed 23lbs 9oz. It was caught in the shallows in 6ft of water using a fresh caught and killed 1.5lb sucker on a slip rig using 8lb trilene xl and a shimano lever drag bait real on a ugle stic big game rod. The rules for the tournament were 38" or bigger ' so I took a picture and released the fish. I was fishing in my old 14ft SEA-KING . Fish was caught at about 5:30 PM.
