Description: 480-lb. Thresher Shark landed 25 miles to the SSE of Block Island, RI by Capt. Bill Brown while being filmed for an episode of Northeast Angling. This fish was landed after a 43 minute battle on 50-lb. class standup gear. The whiptail took a live bluefish bait at boatside.
