Description: Caught during a days fishing on Lake Bomoseen I was ice fishing-using what the local bait shop carried-They were called hunts-They look like a small golden shiner-This was a week before one of the big fishing derby's-On this day-The bass were hitting most of the day-And so were some perch/pike/brown trout It was the most exciting day of catching fish-and was one of the best days ive had on this lake in years-So it tells ya-There still there-So dont give up-The bass weighed in at about six pounds-And was caught in the early afternoon at the south end of the lake-And only a few hundred yards out from the channel that runs out of the lake
