Description: Gidget saw a Striper surface and had me get her close to the spot. Now 11, she has been fishing Elephant Butte Lake, NM since she was 1. She grabbed her abu garcia 6500 bait caster with a 5" pencil popper and threw to the spot. Like a bomb going off this 18lb. Striper hit and ran. Gidget caught the first Striper of the season. It was 7:45am and she was fishing on our 24' Triton Center Console with a Yamaha 250. Gidget, Monica and Billy Jack Miller own and operate Rio Grande Guide Service.
