Pontoon boats for fishing? - fzimwalt - 03-30-2017

I been looking for a fishing boat but thinking about a pontoon boat as a stable plateform? any advice? I found a good selection here: https://boatmo.com/listings/power/pontoon-boats/ of pontoon boats for sale by owner. We did a day rental and the family seemed to like the large deck space of a pontoon.

Never owned one, but I've been on small ponds to Lake Champlain. I've seen them everywhere. Not something I'd take bass fishing, but with a canopy I can see as it's a great boat to anchor and fish with. No reason you can't fix it up to troll with also. It's not something I would take in the ocean or any rough water, so be advised if you go out in rough water. Have fun either way.
