I was there about a week ago. Plenty of ice, about as much as an auger can handle. Plenty of fish for the kiddos too. Was catching a lot of trout and a few Kokanee mixed in with all the perch earlier this year, but this last trip I didn't manage to catch anything but the perch. You can't really find a better place to take kids fishing. Constant action with the perch and good sledding hills, win win. [Wink]

How was the slush when you were there?

The slush will depend on what the temperatures are the night before you go. There is a ton of snow on the ice, so if you go anytime the temperatures are above the teens, the slush can be pretty bad. If you stay on other fishermen's trails that are packed down, it shouldn't be too bad.Good luck!
