Clay Pigeon Shooting - Jnicholes - 03-15-2020

I went clay pigeon shooting today with a friend. It was an interesting experience. Here's the story.

We got to the range, and my friend was trying to launch clay pigeons with a hand thrower. She couldn't get them to launch.

So, we talked to some other guys, MUCH older and more experienced at clay pigeon shooting, and they let us shoot with them. They launched the clay pigeons with an automatic thrower. I and another guy were competing to see who would hit the clay pigeons first.

In a nutshell, I hit so many that we actually pooled our clay pigeons together and they gave me ammo when I ran out, as if to say, "Keep shooting, you're doing good."

They also said I was not a bad shot.

I lost count of how many clay pigeons I brought down.

Good practice for the next duck and goose season!

Very cool that you were able to pool your resources and continue to have and get some good practice in.
