No prob. I like to help out where I can. I had wondered the same thing before so I tested it out by checking my post count before and after sending a private message.

Actually it's a good thing that they don't count as posts. Otherwise they wouldn't be private. They would then be in full view to all members. The private message serves more as an intersite e-mail without all the spam.

It is a good thing. Especially because it is how it says. Private. It gives us an efficient way to communicate with each other without the rest of the world knowing. It also makes it easier than having to go to your own email to send a message to someone elses email.
