Yakima River - tubeN2 - 06-04-2004

RECORDED: [Image: ptcloudy.gif] 68 ° [Image: blackSpacer.gif] FISHING: Great
This Yakima river report is brought to you by the staff of Puget Sound Fly Company, with help from our customers and legendary guide Mark Shimazu. Please feel free to call us at (253) 839-4119 for further details or for help with pattern recommendations.

FISHING: The river is running at unseasonably low levels right now. For anglers, this means taking advantage of the great wading opportunities that are still available. P.M.D's are becoming a very important hatch and expect to see the Summer Stones around the corner. If you choose to float the river, consider a shorter float than you might normally fish this time of year. This will give you plenty of time to get out and fish from shore as well as from the boat.

FLIES: Nymphs: Rainbow Warriors, Speculators, Lightning Bugs, Copper John's.
Dry: P.M.D. emerger, P.M.D. parachute, Hi-Vis P.M.D., Stimulator.

Streamer: Cone-head buggers, Olive Zonker, Marabou Conehead mudder
