Mantua Report - Hoobie - 06-06-2004 Me & my dad fished mantua yesterday from 6 - 9:30PM caught a lot of bluegills kept 10 for dinner today and realesed a lot more, my dad cought one 8 inch bass and one 9 inch perch. All fish were caught on a 1 inch white curlytail jig 2 - 3 feet under a bobber. The bugs were pretty thick from 7:30 on but there were few mosquitos mostly just mayflies & nats, one flew in my eye wich made things difficult/painfull for a while and I'm sure I swallowed/breathed in a few but it was worth it to have fast action for some good sized bluegill , Man they sure fight good for their size[].
