Barr Lake - NealCO - 06-30-2004

My company has had me up in the Brighton area lately because of a rash of breakins in that area. Every day I drive right by this lake. It looks like a really nice lake. Has anyone ever fished there? Does it have an adequate ramp?

I am assuming it has wipers, bass and walleye?

One of the guys on coloradofisherman.com fishes barr alot. I bet he will help. I think his name is david broeren? I think it's mostly known for cats and wipers. Also West Nile, as one of the local residents got infected walking around Barr Lake. Take your DEET. LOL

I think it has a 10hp or less boat rule, maybe electric only these days, half of the lake is wildlife preserve at the south end, cats and tigers too, bass in the reeds and pads on the east side, thats the best part
