Frustrated muskie hunter - Abomb - 07-03-2004
Hi guys great board you have here. I have been reading the last few weeks and thought I'd register. Maybe you guys can give me some tips on catching a tiger muskie. These fish are hard to catch! I went to pinewood earlier this year and saw a bunch in the cove. I threw all the lures I usually catch pike on, shallow crankbaits, spinnerbaits, plastics, etc. but no luck. I went to gross res. today and didn't even know where to start lol. I saw one in some shallow water but it didn't want anything to do with my lures either. I fished all around where I saw it and not even a follow. I know you guys know your stuff, so what is the best way to catch a tiger? And where do you like to go? Thanks in advance for any help.
