Hey all!
I just read that Bass Pro Shops will be opening a Denver store in 2005 in the old Stapleton Airport area. Gander Mtn. will be opening in October in Aurora. Here's a link to the story:

I'm with you on Cabela's rods. I think their Fish Eagle II rods are a great value for the price. I've never tried Cabela's reels. I had a Bass Pro Shops brand reel years ago that fell apart shortly after I bought it and I've been leary of private-brand reels ever since.
Ditto your opinion for Uncle Milty's. Milt's a great guy and I like to see the little local shops like his stay in business, too.
