Lake Cheney Ks. ICE - maddjack - 12-20-2000
I just returned from Cheney. I would guess there were over 100 people on the Ice. They were split into 2 main groups. One at fisherman's point. The other at Andale beach also known as silverlake road. There were a few whites on the ice today but from the people I talked to you I should have been there yesterday. They caught whites, wipers, stripers up to 13 lbs. I saw the picture and a few walleye. The Ice at fisherman's point had open water around a pressure ridge so if you go keep an eye out for new ice as it may be very thin. Good Luck and be Careful, Merry Christmas <br><br><br>
