ok here it goes bought a boat 1976 arrowglass 17.5 ft openbow omc stern drive 351 ford 165hp. the steering cable from the steering wheel drum cable thingy (sorry new to the boating thing) its a dual cable and it has a casing around the cable well from the drum at the seering wheel and about 6 inches long it looks like it blew up though it did not break the cable i was wondering if anyone on bft new how to fix it i cant find a steering cable for this boat well i did find it at intermountain boat and truck but he wanted 1200 dollars to fix it and i dont have that kinda cash but if anyone knows how and is willing to do it ill pay ya have cash just not that much please help thanxs.
