Aluminum Boats are being stolen at an astounding rate.
6 aluminum row boats and canoes in the last six months in my neighborhood alone.
chances are good they are being taken to a scrap yard so any one in the vicenity of a scrap yard seeing an aluminum boat making its way to a scrap yard should call the police emediatly. any of these boats finding their way there should have documentation of the owner "person the boat was last registered to"
Much like the auto theft and scrap yards not taking documentation on cars and trucks being towed in for scrap.
it is one nasty scam... keep your eyes open...
