I see that kayak paddles come in different lengths.
What length would I need if I am 5'10", & the kayak is 11'X28"?
which would be a better choice: 230cm or a 240 cm

I prefer the longer length as a matter of personal choice. It allows a little more leverage on the stroke but also affords more reach when you are nearing the edges of the water and need a little bit more length to push off.
Some people prefer the shorter distance. Some go with the longer. There are more of us Saltwater Yakkers that prefer the longer length.[cool]
