Trout in the Spring - Bassmaster-ND - 01-30-2009 How deep are the trout going to be in the spring after the lakes ice out? What have you caught them on?[cool] [signature] Re: [Bassmaster-ND] Trout in the Spring - lunkerhunter2 - 01-30-2009 mOST OF OUR SPRING TROUT ARE RAINBOWS AND THEY ARE IN SPAWN MODE IN MOST LAKES SO THEY ARE VERY SHALLOW. Stupid caps lock[pirate] Anyway, Power Bait, salmon eggs, spinners, worm/marshmallows, rapalas, and flies catch the majority up this way. I personally like the panther martin spinners except in a few specific spots where I will go for a CD Rapala or Kastmasters.
