North American Fishing Club - itchy98595 - 08-31-2001

Has anyone ever heard of this North American Fishing Club? Is it legit or not? I received a letter in the mail asking me to join for $1 a month...... Check out their website www.fishingclub.com .... Any information about them would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to fall for a scam, if you know what I mean!

Thanks,

Dan

I AM ALSO A LIFE MEMBER, I ENJOY THE PUBLICATION VERY MUCH. ITS VERY INFORMATIVE ESPECIALLY ON SPECIES THAT I'VE NEVER FISHED FOR BUT WOULD SOME DAY LIKE TO. THE ARTICLES A VERY WELL WRITTEN AND PRETTY THOROUGH. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIELD TEST YET, BUT THERE ARE QUITE A FEW BENEFITS TO NAFC.

I'm a member Dan and I enjoy their magazine! I'm usually reading about Bass fishing. The NAFC mag covers all types of fishing though. It's kind of fun for me to read about "Ice Fishing" not something I'll ever get to try here in LA (Lower Alabama).

John Weaver

http://www.thebassguide.com

Re: North American Fishing Club - OneWhoFishes - 04-03-2002

They are a great club. I myself am a Life Member. All of the articles are well written and informative. That alone is worth it. Knowledge is everything in this sport. Finding others that will share it is another thing. This club the magazine has articles written by amatures to pros. Bill Dance and Rowland Martin have teamed up numerouse times. Plus they have a great members section.

[Smile] I just joined as a lifemember, after being there for 4 months. I also post on the boards, and have met one of the members in person. Lots of good info on the boards that I can spill over here. I am also pleased with the publacations. If you are going to join just for the free stuff, I don't want to brake your bubble, but they are far and few between. The web sight is one of the better ones I have found. I feel this one is the best. Some will try to steal you away, but I have found you can be on both and gain just that much more about the sport we all love most. ( besides the better half LOL) For the price I say give it a shot, like every thing else you can always give it up after your year is up. Or like myself you might want to become that life member.
