little creek fishing in Nampa - 46dairyman59 - 07-23-2009

While my boys and I were fishing at Cascade lake and not doing very good some of their friends were in Nampa fishing a little creek next to their house in a sub and just knocking them dead. My question is? does anyone know of where I can get "info" on little creeks in the area of Nampa to Boise that are fishable.

well best way to find out where they stock them at and look at all the tributaries, estuary and such on a map and then you can find a bait shop in the area and ask. They will usually tell you the popular spots. Then take a local map of the area and look for some possible little creeks and streams and what not that look good.Just walk them and look for holes. You could possible find that one spot that is rarely fish you can boast about to your buddies and take your kids there.

Hope that helps

here is a good place to start.

Post this on the Idaho board and I am sure you will get some answers. There are a lot of Boise area people on that board.
