Like you said, the others make good reels too, and this is a very opinionative and arguementative subject since the opinions of each angler are based on personal experiance. I can tell you that i've owned and abused most of those brands, and since i've stumbled onto the Sargus, i'm not interested in another spinning reel; with the exception of maybe a Fin Nor offshore or Ahab.
