You may want to find a couple of sportsstores in your area and try a few pair on. I've also learned that just because they are more expensive doesn't necessarily mean that they are better quality. My father bought a pair for significantly more than I did and his already has a hole even though we use them about the same number of times during the year. Anyway, I personally would do a little research and try on a few before making a decision. [signature] Re: [michael55] breathable waders - macfly55 - 12-02-2009 just a suggestion, but if I am not mistaken orvis and other big sites have measurment charts on their sites based on height, weight etc.. ask you sister for that information and go from there.. it may be a little big on her but that is pretty much what you want.. something that is comfortable to wear for a long period of time in a variety of situations (standing, sitting, squatting etc).. The only discrepancy might be in the foot/bootie, that will/may require a larger shoe. For the most part however, if the bootie on the wader is a good fit, then you should be able to buy the shoe in your size as they do allow for the neoprene in most cases. If that bootie is a little big however, you will need a bigger shoe. My bootie is actually at least 2 sizes too big (men's waders) and I had to buy my shoe two sizes bigger. [signature]
