NEBRASKA OFFERS YOUTH FISHING CLINIC TOMORROW - FishNews - 04-07-2010
LINCOLN, NEBRASKA - Youth and parents are invited to attend a youth fishing clinic at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 at the Valentine State Fish Hatchery. The first 100 youth will receive free rods and reels.
Personnel from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and partner organizations will teach youth knot-tying, fish identification, water and boating safety, and other fishing topics. There also will be hands-on learning, as the youth may fish on one of the hatchery ponds stocked with rainbow trout and largemouth bass. Lunch will be provided.
The hatchery is located a mile east and a mile north of Valentine.
