last day of the hunt and 1-3feet of snow made this area light up with elk and hunters alike. never seen so many elk outside of wintering grounds. 7 cows dead from our party.... fun hut and lots of fun ridding the sled down the mountain while sitting on fresh meat!

[inline "Elk hunt 2010 004edited.jpg"]Sounds like a ton of elk were shot up there this fall. I wonder if this will affect the regulations for next year? I shot mine before all the snow fell so I missed the big massacres and spent the rest of the hunt fishing.

yeh we seen elk everytime we whent up both high and low, a heard hangs out just past the bone store all year this year but all private. been like this the last few years. i wasnt to willing to do to much work for my cow this year so waited to fid some closer to acsess points. my buck this year killed me and i couldnt stay off the river!!!! great fishing year. and nice elk man, congrats
