4/15 Boxcar cove - NParry - 04-16-2011
On the advice of a fellow board member, I took a ride over to Boxcar today looking for LMB. Fished from about 3:30 until around 6pm. My very first cast, tossing a chigger craw on a jig head, didn't make it to the lake floor before getting hit hard. Once she was close in, it turned out to be a good sized carp!
i never did catch a bass today, the carp was my only fish of the day. But I think I know where they are. I just couldn't cast to them from shore. I'll fix that.
Beautiful evening to be knee deep in the water, either way.
