Uinta Maps - 4thekids - 07-25-2012 Hi fellow fisherman. I know I have asked this question before but have a terrible memory and very little spare time to follow up on any response but this time will be different. I am looking for a publication which shows (in great detail if possible) the lakes and trails of the Uinta's area. Even if I don't get out very often, I would like to start finding on the map the lakes that you guys/ gals fish and post about. Which do you recommend and where could I find it? Thank You all in advance for any info. [signature] Re: [4thekids] Uinta Maps - wiperhunter2 - 07-26-2012 The best map of the state for the money is the the Utah Atlas & Gazetteer by DeLorme Mapping. I bought mine at Bingham Cycle but you can also buy them at Utah Idaho Supply map world. I just looked it up in the phone book and gave them a call, they cost a little less than $20 before tax. Hope that helps. Much more detail on lakes and trails etc than Delorme. Kirkham's and REI has a Nat Geographic Map for about $14 on the Uintas that's pretty good as well. [signature] |
