Welcome to Eastern Idaho. I live in Idaho Falls and fish for walleye, smallies, trout, and kokanee. You have a number of good fishin holes close to Pocatello. Let me know if you have questions about some of them and am happy to share my two sense.
I mostly fish from a boat during the summer, spring and fall. Ice fishing was really good last winter at Ririe reservior. The south fork of the Snake is primier water and not to far from Pocatello.
Anyway give me a note some time and I'll get more specific.
