Massacre - huntid73 - 05-06-2016
So, last year I heard a rumor that there were sturgeon being caught at Massacre. I am assuming they were caught in the canyon going towards Eagle Rock. Has anyone on here heard the same? Or has anyone caught one here?

Wouldn't see why there wouldn't have been some that have swam down fromAF dam.

I agree, I know it gets deep in some spots by Mary's Mine and in that canyon at Massacre. I heard that Fish and Game confirmed that they are in the reservoir.

They have been planting them at the boat ramp for years. They'll be where you find em, lots of people fish below American falls dam. They find them in the canals at Walcott and have been catching them below minidoka dam. Couple years ago there were a couple dead ones in murtaugh lake.

I have fished below the dam, and lost a 5-6 footer, we saw him come up, but he threw the hook! I didn't know they stocked them at Massacre, will have to hit Massacre harder.
