The Highs and Lows of fishing for sure in one day!! We started our day off with a long run up north and started catching fish pretty quick...started with a chatterbait and crankbait and both seemed to be working, just not for the ones we needed. Caught several shorts at our first stop and one about 3.5 on a trick worm worked very slowly around docks. decided to start working out way back down river....While running for the first time back down, we heard a pop, and didn't think much of it at the time...well what we found out a few miles back down the river was the lower unit was giving up on us....not the good part of the day for sure!

However, we kept our heads up and begin trolling down to sullivans and fishing along the way...Caught both our other fish we weighed in while trolling down the river just pitching to any cover we could find along the bank...Caught all three of our keepers on the trick worm tight to cover and fished so slow it was painful....

Ended up with 11.40...minus a pound for a fish I let get hooked to deep while trying to keep us moving in the right direction with the trolling motor...for 10.40 and 3rd place...

Thankfully another CFF angler helped get us back to the ramp, seemed like the worst part was after we could see Sullivan's and it just seemed like we were not moving.
