A friend and I hit jordanelle on the north end it was pretty rough walking until you hit the ice, it took 80 minutes to walk back to the truck at the end of the day. Fished from 8:30 until 2:30 did not see another ice fisherman all the time we were fishing but did come across a couple on the way in. The Perch were bigger than over by where the provo river comes in, some went 12-13 inches, we landed (4) rainbows about 14 - 15 inches, and my friend was rewarded with a 22 inch Brown. We had a great day.

There is about 10" of ice on the north end.

did you walk in from the highway or from the marina ??
was it the snow that made it rough walking ?? if so i will try my snowshoes
