Jordanelle Question

[cool]I'm not very experienced on Jordanelle. The only place I've fished it is Rock Cliff Park, but that area seems to be getting hammered lately.

My question is: Where is the "hailstone" area? Is that over by the "Mayflower" exit kind of by the boat ramp exit? With Strawberry slowing down lately, I think I wanna go after a whole mess of Perch, and maybe get a Rainbow here and there. Hailstone seems like it's doing good lately judging by the reports. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, Hailstone is where the two main boat ramps are, right off of Highway 40.

I have had good luck for perch just out from the boat ramp,before you get past the boat docks.You may get some Rainbows also.

going up to the state park this morning Feb 18th, fish on the south side. tons of perch, they move around so you may have to cut lots of holes, used a vertical rapala tiped with perch meat on the bottom hook, the rainbows will take that as well, we will be in a red pick up, good luck
