What's up with Rockcliffs?
#1
Can you still launch a pontoon boat at rockcliffs? I was up there two weeks and they had a sign that the road into the lake was closed, but I could see several cars down near the water so I went down and launched, there were several other pontoons and float tubes that had launched and no one said a word to me. I'm thinking about taking my pontoon up tomorrow afternoon and I need to know if I should go somewhere else.

I posted about it about a week and a half ago. I know there is a way to link to a previous post, but I don't know how to do it.

The thread was called "Rock Cliffs is CLOSED!". It should be pretty easy to find. It was about what we were able to find out regarding the "closure".

An update on it - I still haven't heard from the contractor. Big surprise.

For those who didn't care about it, sorry I bumped the "Rock Cliffs is CLOSED!" thread back to the front, for someone who asked about it.

Can anyone tell me how to make a link to a previous thread?

Thanks,

Oh Yeah, delete "unread#unread" if you want it to link to the top of the page rather than the unread post.

Have you heard anything further on this? I have a 50-50 chance of escaping work early enough Saturday to fish the evening and Rock Cliffs would be my 1st choice if possible. also any new reports from there this past week?

I'm sorry to report that there isn't any new info about access to the area. However, I'm guessing these crews don't work Saturdays, but I could be wrong. If they are there, you can probably slip in after they leave (5 pm on weekdays) and fish. I'm not sure though, so have a backup plan just in case. Also, that road might be torn up by now.

There probably won't be very many "Rock Cliff" reports the rest of the year, unless guys are gettting there on a boat launched at Hailstone.
