The weather lately has been terrible here and there are few reports to be had one report I got was from a Bait shop owner and well lets just say he has a reputation for stretching the truth he says that there have been alot of small stripers caught in Island Beach State park but I wouldn't rely on this there have been some good ling catches on the party boats if you pick the right day with the right conditions to go but with this weather there aren't to many right days mackeral fishing is picking up with Large schools reported out near the mudhole with some herring mixed in but its another pick your day situation best bet would be to be flexible on your days and callthe boat captain the night before
