A picture is worth a thousand words........
#1
I was taught growing up that you didn't kill ANYTHING that you wasn't going to eat, and when you did harvest something it wasn't a Sport, it was a privledge. That holds true in Hunting, Fishing, and ALL the fredoms that we enjoy in this wonderful country. Some people frown on the "Methods" that I use in Catching Catfish (I.E. Limblines, Trotlines, Etc.) but, the realism is that no matter how you hunt or fish, if you practise "Selective Harvest" there will be an abundance of quality game and fish for generations to come. Remember a picture is worth a thousand words.....Tight lines all...

Welcome aboard Nightcrawlerr and thanks for your words of wisdom. It is so true that people tend to harvest more than what is necessary.

My son and I strongly practice selective harvesting. We do alot more Catch and Release only to improve the pleasure of fishing for the future.
