Ventura Pier fishing report 6/3/05
#1
We arrived at the Ventura Pier around 7:30pm. The water temp was around 60 degrees, wind was non existant and there were hardly any anglers there.

We had frozen squid, fresh Spanish Mack and live Walleye Surf Perch.

The squid brought in bat rays and thornbacks on the large end and small bait fish from the small end.

The fresh Perch brought in 1 decent Spiny Dogfish that measured out to 42inches in length. That was quite a chore to pull up on the pier.

Nothing else bit for the night so we left at 3:00am to head for the landing.[cool]
