Ocean, oceanetts, and I hit yuba on a last minute fishing trip tonight, and it was worth the drive in my oppinion.
I had just got my new rod and reel (diawa d-force and quantum hypercast) setup so i was itching to give it a try, after about 20 minutes without so much as a bump, WAM a freight train took my lure and the fight was on, i landed the fighter, which gave hope to the oceans that they might get a fish.
2 casts later WAM, yahoo fish on, this one put up an even better fight, what a ball on lighter line. By then the oceans were none to pleased with me cuz none of them had so much as a nibble.
Just before dark ocean did shake the skunk and nailed a nice bow.
I got on the water about 6:15 and was off it at 7
