[cool]Welcome to BFT crush! As far as Daniels goes Lunkerhunter2 was up there about a week ago. Here is a link to his report. http://www.bigfishtackle.com/...orum.cgi?post=242459. He also reported on the Utah board with a little more info on the ice conditions and such. Here is that link: http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?post=242364

Let us know how you do when you go.

I don't know how much ice is on Daniels but I would be surprised if there wasn't at least 12" of ice on it. I've parked snowmachines on 10" of ice and they say you only need 5" or 6" of solid ice for snowmachines or 4 wheelers. I would still recommend being extra cautious driving a snowmachine on the ice. Every winter it seems like I hear of at least one or two that end up on the bottom of one of the reservoirs in Eastern Idaho. A month or two ago someone asked if it was legal to drive motorized vehicles on the ice on Daniels. I haven't been able to find anything that said that it is illegal. There are a number of anglers that have used snowmachines and 4 wheelers at Daniels.

Maybe lunkerhunter2 or someone else that has been to Daniels lately will put in their 2 cents.
