Jordan River, roll gates where it leaves UT Lake
#1
I poked around there for a couple hours Thursday. Didn't catch anything worth a hoot - but - there had to be a bajillion little 2" white bass just mobbing anything I threw in. Another year & I'll bet the Jordan is gonna have some fun whitie fishing.

[cool][#0000ff]Yeah, those little rascals are thick all around the lake. Looks like the high water years have been good for the white bass spawning.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The walleyes, largies and catfish have all been doing well too...both for spawning and for all of the available food. The ones that are not too full to hit an angler's offerings should be fat and sassy.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I am starting to do some prospecting around the lake this week. Let me know if you want to get away and check out some different spots.[/#0000ff]
