ICE FISHING @ SCOFIELD 12-09
#1
Myself, brother-in-law and two nephews went to Scofield yesterday. What a beautiful sunny day. Decided to fish from the side of the boat ramp. Arrived about 7:15 and atarted fishing about 7:45 am. No bites until about 9:15 am and then they hit. I can honestly say that I have never fished in the same hole all day. We were fishing in 19 feel of water and pretty much whever the fish finder said the fish were (any depth) they were biting. 19 feet I caught one at 4 feet. We were using paddle bugs topped with crawlers and ratfinkies topped with crawlers. Between the 4 of us we caught about 25 fish when we stopped counting. LEft about 2:00 pm. They were just starting to bite again. Both my nephews caught there first fish. Brought home several nice bows about 1 pound to 1 pound a half. I will be going next Friday again as well.
