Why I go sturgeon fishing
#1
[black]This Sturgeon was caught somewhere (several different locations have been listed). It weighed out at over 1,000 lbs and measured out at 11'1". It was 56" around the girth and took over 4 1/2 hours for the guys changing out on the reel to land it.[/black]

Not sure, but really old. A 7'10" sturgeon is approximately 43 years old, and they have been known to live at least 150 years!

I've seen that fish like 10 times and each time I've seen it, the location has changed. That is irrelavant, I want to catch that fish. I wonder how many 6 packs of liquid refreshment they went through during and after.....

That is a huge fish.
I've heard reliable reports that it came out of the Fraser River in BC, Canada.

"On the willamette just below Oregon"........ Folks need to get their facts straight. I used to live by the Willamette and it dumps into the columbia river and starts in the middle of the Cascades of Oregon. The river runs to the north. Anyway that fish more than likely came out of the Columbia or the Snake.........
