I hope I've posted useful info for others and learned quite a few things myself.<br><br>
No doubt about it Hara and on both counts by what I have seen and read around the boards. <br><br>I think that is the great thing about this board even though it's still new. It's growing slowly and anglers from all over are getting involved in terms of posting news, asking questions, trying to make decisions about the right reels, helping other anglers out, trying to choose tackle for the job or based on a budget, and so on. <br><br>To me that is what boards like this are all about IMO. The really tough job (for me) is going to be having to choose winners because I think anyone who takes the time to do any of the above suggestions (in terms of posts) I think are all 'winners". <br><br>Even so, that was the deal and I have to stick to it (ofcourse). Well it's nearly the last day of the competition and I think people have made some great contributions to this board over the past six weeks. <br><br>I know the prizes have been added incentive for some. Even so, I can also see that many posters are here out of their own passionate interest in angling which in think is just as, if not more, important. <br><br>Just to let you know, and to make sure that the results for all posters here is fair, that this is what I will be doing tomorrow night. <br><br>I am making a list of all posters here since the competition began. Then I am noting how many times they have posted. If you posted 5 times then 5 paper slips with your name go into the hat. <br><br>If you posted 20 times then 20 paper slips go in the hat. So in otherwords, the more times you posted the better you chances of being drawn out as a prize winner.<br><br>So, all of those paper slips go into the hat and the first name drawn will get the calstar rod. The second name a Demon Hot Shot Lure and the third name the same. <br><br>Using this method means that it is fair to everyone including those who took extra time to post more often.
