Went out to Lindon yesterday afternoon from 4 to 8:15. I concentrated on the LMB haunts inside the harbor from 4 til 6. There were no bites. No fish on sonar. I changed over to walleye gear and planer board with 1/2 ounce bottom bouncer and chartreus spinner harness. (Planer board- Utah Lake is shallow and no walleye in its right mind would stay underneath my trolling boat). I trolled at 0.7 to 1.7 mph from 6-8 pm with no success. I watched other folks fish and only one out of all those anglers caught a carp. Extremely slow day.
It was a awesome beautiful windless afternoon after a somewhat blustery cold front came in overnight the day before. Then there was a full moon which could have affected fishing somewhat.
