Me and Shiftworker and another buddy we call "Hub Cap", headed out this mornin to the Upper G in hopes of getting on some fish like we did yesterday. Plan was to try to beat the storm and strong wind and maybe catch em schooled up. But guess what, we didn't beat the wind, it beat us! We went with the same game plan as yesterday throwing traps in the shallows. Hub Cap got his line streched by a 5lb catfish to start the mornin off. Then throughout the course of the morn we caught a few keepers here and there, but struggled in the gail force winds. I think between the three of us we had four keepers and a couple of slicks. It's ashame that men will risk life and limb to get their line stretched! Had a ball, but got a mean case of wind burn!
